Arena has been hosting monthly online meetings for editorial coordinators of cross-border investigations since 2024.
The tasks of an editorial coordinator can be many and varied, but might include some combination of recruiting team members, setting up the tech that enables collaboration, liaising with lawyers and designers, managing grant applications, administrating funding, maintaining the collaborative workspace and editing investigations.
This network is designed for coordinators to support one another with the challenges and opportunities of the role. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 12 CET and communicate using Signal in between meetings. Please email info@journalismarena.eu to find out more and join the network.
