The Climate Arena Conference returns for its second year – this time to Bologna, Italy! The conference will take place from 18 – 19 October 2024.
This conference, organised by the Arena Climate Network, is like Dataharvest, but focused on the climate. It is a hands-on working conference, aimed at sharing knowledge and building connections in a friendly, collaborative environment.
The conference is not just for journalists, but for academics, scientists and anyone working on investigating the climate, and uncovering issues affecting our environment. So the conference is an opportunity for journalists and experts from different disciplines to learn from each other, build trust and share expertise. It is the space to produce new ideas for climate investigations and build collaborations across Europe – because we all face the climate crisis together.
Today we have opened the call for proposals for sessions at this year’s Climate Arena. Submit your ideas for sessions by 12 April. You can submit multiple proposals. For more information on what and how to apply take a look at the call for proposals and the overview on “What makes a great Climate Arena session”.
Tickets for the conference will be announced in the coming months.
If you are a journalist working in or interested in climate and environmental research, or if you come from academia, science or non-profit organisations and want to share your methods and tools with others across Europe, then this conference is for you!
We hope to see you in Bologna!
